So we're in the middle of Hispanic Heritage Month. Women are holding more than 10% of Fortune 500 CEO positions for the first time in history. And the website WalletHub just released their latest report on the Most Diverse States for 2023 in America.

It didn't surprise me at all that Texas made the list. It did surprise me that Texas wasn't number one, and that, with the number of jobs and companies that are moving from California to Texas, California topped the list. For a breakdown on WalletHub's findings, click here.

Diversity is about much more than racial and ethnic differences. WalletHub compiled its report of the Most Diverse States using these statistics: economic, socioeconomic, household, cultural, political, and religious diversity (see video below). In my opinion Texas is still a relatively conservative state, and I think religion plays a major part.

I believe the key factors that would have made us the #1 most diverse state in America are culture, household, and socioeconomic status due to the border situation in Texas. The top 10 states are as follows.

The Top 10 Most Diverse States in America

  1. California
  2. Texas
  3. Hawaii
  4. New Jersey
  5. Florida
  6. New Mexico
  7. Nevada
  8. New York
  9. Maryland
  10.  Arizona

I like to think that our Lone Star State is the most open-minded, freedom-loving state in the country. We Texans love our families, neighbors, communities, churches, and businesses. Besides, what other state has its own music genre named after them? Yes, we do love our Texas Music. I just had to add that. I love my "God Blessed Texas".
