Wild Days Is Returning to the Abilene Zoo for Spring Break 2025
Wild Days are back at the Abilene Zoo from March 8 through March 16, 2025, offering visitors an up-close experience with animals, live educational interactive shows. Families from across West Texas can enjoy hands-on activities,daily surprises, and the always fun and exciting interactive exhibits.
What to Expect During Wild Days
Every day brings something new. The Wild Side Live stage shows feature zoo experts showcasing different animals and their unique behaviors. Each show is unscripted, making every visit a fresh experience.
For the first time, the zoo is offering an exclusive Backstage Tour, where visitors can see behind-the-scenes animal care and conservation efforts. Tickets for this tour are limited and available online click HERE.
Zoo Attractions and Experiences
- Giraffe Feeding Experience: Hand-feed the giraffes for $5.
- Zoo Eats: Food vendors will be open throughout the event.
- Gift Shop: Take home a keepsake from your visit.
- Carousel, Safari Train Express & Swan Boats: Enjoy classic attractions for all ages.
Zoo Hours and Admission
- Gates open at 9 AM and close at 4 PM. The zoo remains open until 5 PM.
- Kids (ages 3-12): $7
- Seniors (ages 65+): $9
- Adults: $10
- Toddlers (under 2 years old): Free
- Members: Event included with Abilene Zoo memberships.
