Annual Cut Off for Cancer Hair Cut-A-Thon in Abilene is Sunday October 21st

Local hair stylists will be cutting hair for donations to the American Cancer Society (ACS). There is a 'suggested' donation of $25 per haircut, but all donations will be greatly appreciated. If your hair long enough and meets the basic criteria, you may also donate it to 'Locks of Love' or the 'Pantene Beautiful Lengths' organizations. More licensed hair stylists are are welcomed to participate as well.

The Locks of Love and Pantene Beautiful Lengths organizations will take the cut-off hair and use it to make wigs for patients with cancer or other catastrophic diseases. The American Cancer Society volunteers and representatives will be on site during the event to answer questions, hand out cancer information and assist during the Cut Off for Cancer Hair Cut-A-Thon at Nelda's Styling Center on Sunday, October 21st.
