The 5th Annual Cattle Baron's Ball Style Show, Couture for a Cure, is coming up August 9th at Tangled Hearts Wedding and Events Center.

This annual golf classic helps raise money for the American Cancer Society. You can join in for a day of fun on the course and help raise money to save lives and find cures for cancer.

This year it's an 'Event', instead of seeing who finishes first there will be look-a-like, talent and other contests. The other good news is the entry fee dropped drastically check it out.

Relay for Life is coming up April 24th but teams are being formed right now to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. I have formed my team, The Paper M'Shay's, and you can help by joining my team or by making a donation to my team.

Relay For Life events tend to be more of a celebration and opportunity to hang out with friends than a fundraiser. The Relay For Life of Shackelford County Shamrock Shuffle 5K is no exception. It's coming March 9th at Bank Park in Albany, and participants are encouraged to dress in green and/or purple, and awards will be given to the best costumes.

Local hair stylists will be cutting hair for donations to the American Cancer Society (ACS). There is a 'suggested' donation of $25 per haircut, but all donations will be greatly appreciated. If your hair long enough and meets the basic criteria, you may also donate it to 'Locks of Love' or the 'Pantene Beautiful Lengths' organizations.
