This year it's an 'Event', instead of seeing who finishes first there will be look-a-like, talent and other contests. The other good news is the entry fee dropped drastically check it out.

Relay For Life events tend to be more of a celebration and opportunity to hang out with friends than a fundraiser. The Relay For Life of Shackelford County Shamrock Shuffle 5K is no exception. It's coming March 9th at Bank Park in Albany, and participants are encouraged to dress in green and/or purple, and awards will be given to the best costumes.
Local hair stylists will be cutting hair for donations to the American Cancer Society (ACS). There is a 'suggested' donation of $25 per haircut, but all donations will be greatly appreciated. If your hair long enough and meets the basic criteria, you may also donate it to 'Locks of Love' or the 'Pantene Beautiful Lengths' organizations.
