Have a little fun during 'Zoo Day' this Friday, July 10th. Get in free, but remember there's a very limited capacity and it will be first come first served.

Every Thursday night through August you can enjoy the zoo and it's amazing wildlife during the cooler evening temps.

There will be Lions and tigers and the Easter Bunny oh my. The Abilene Zoo is hosting Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 24th & 31st.

What goes best with Valentine's Day but chocolate? The Abilene Zoo is having a Chocolate Safari Tasting Affair just in time for the sweetest of holidays.

The Abilene Zoo continues to celebrate it's 50th Anniversary with a culinary, musical and auction event Saturday, September 24th.

This is the grand opening celebration of the Abilene Zoo's multi-million dollar Giraffe Safari. Celebrate the newest zoo feature with a ribbon cutting and hand feeding of the giraffes.

The Abilene Zoo is one of the best zoos in Texas. Recently my 13 year old daughter & I visited the zoo. We both took pictures. Here's a sampling, enjoy!

This Saturday, July 11th is Teddy Bear Day at the Abilene Zoo. Children 12 and under who bring a Teddy Bear (or other stuffed animal) with them will get free entry into the zoo.

The Abilene Zoo has a gift for one of it's most popular animals. Havar the white tiger will be moving into his newly remodeled exhibit Friday August 29th. Zoo Director Bill Gersonde says improvements include a new larger pool, a cave to provide shade and new landscaping both in and around Havar's exhibit. The public is encouraged to come see how Havar takes to his new home.
