Western Heritage Classic Hits Abilene this Weekend
The Western Heritage Classic is back this Thursday through Saturday bringing lots of fun and visitors to the Abilene area. The event has been bringing ranchers, rodeo cowboys and spectators to Abilene since 1985. It didn't have the name "Western Heritage" at the time and it was a small 5 event competition for some local ranch hands. Over the years the event has grown to be a major part of the spring line up at the Taylor Co. Coliseum and brings in some of the biggest and best ranches around to compete for honors and braggin' rights.
