Texas Welcomes Back Budweiser Clydesdales for 2025 Rodeo

FAMOUS CLYDESDALEYee-haw! The famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses are coming back to Texas for the 2025 Western Heritage Classic taking place in Abilene.

For the first time since before COVID-19 hit in 2019, the legendary Budweiser Clydesdales are coming back to Abilene, Texas, and they’re going all out. You’ll see them up close at events across the Key City during the Texas Western Heritage Classic, taking place May 8–11, 2025. Their appearances will include Dyess Air Force Base, downtown Abilene, the Western Heritage Parade, the rodeo, and many more locations.

Big Texas Fun at the 2025 Western Heritage Classic

The Texas Western Heritage Classic is more than just a rodeo, it's an all-out celebration of Western life, culture, and tradition. According to Taylor County Expo Center Director Rochelle Johnson, “Come out and enjoy all the Expo Center has to offer, including better parking and arenas that were made for rodeos.”

Texas Parade, Outdoor Concert & Cowboy Church

The fun kicks off Thursday, May 8, with the Texas Western Heritage Parade in downtown Abilene at 6:30 p.m. Expect horses, floats, live music, and of course, Budweiser’s breathtaking Clydesdales horses.

The weekend concludes Sunday morning with Cowboy Church in Texas Style, starting at 9:00 a.m. Bring the family and enjoy a heartfelt message beneath the open West Texas sky.

Texas Events at Dyess Air Force Base and Beyond

In addition to the Expo Center events, the Texas Budweiser Clydesdales Tour will stop at Dyess Air Force Base and other local venues across Abilene. Keep an eye out for their full public appearance schedule, coming soon.
