Now, it’s back for 2026, and if you’re a veteran, active-duty service member, or part of a military family, this is one event you’ll want on your calendar.

More Than a Car Show in Abilene, Texas
Yes, there will be a car show, and if you’ve ever been, you already know how impressive those rides can be. But this event goes much deeper.
We’re talking about:
- Veteran resources and benefits information
- Nonprofit organizations serving military families
- State and local support agencies on-site
- Food trucks and family-friendly fun
It’s a one-stop opportunity for veterans and their families to connect with services that can truly make a difference.

Why This Texas Veterans Event Matters
I’ve always believed that events like this are the heartbeat of West Texas. They remind us that supporting our veterans isn’t just something we say, it’s something we show up for.
Whether you’re going for the cars, the food, the information, or just to shake hands and say “thank you,” this is one of those Abilene events that brings out the very best in our community.
Bottom line, if you’ve served, or you support someone who has, this is your place to be on May 16th.
