A few months back I told you about one of my projects that I was working on for my back yard. I was sanding my porch table and chairs, that turned out to be a bigger task than I had imagined. Needless to say I'm still in the process of completing said project, but I am getting closer to the finish line. I began the painting phase this weekend. The sanding took longer than I had anticipated plus, the cold weather pushed me back a bit too. However, it's finally started to warm up and I got to start painting. I got the chairs finished this weekend. I will give them a couple of days to dry before putting them back together though.

I also had some help this time. I called on my minions; my mother and son to help. If you don't have minions yourself, I highly recommend that you get a set. I had them help me do the base coat on all the chair slats. We got it knocked out pretty quick and the next day I added a final coat. I can be a little anal when it comes to painting so I did the final coat myself.

Now I have to finish the table it's self. It rained Sunday so the table will have to wait a few days. When I get it completed I will, of course, post the photos. Summer isn't quite here yet so I still have a little time.
