The deadly explosion at a fertilizer plant in West, Texas has killed several people and injured over 160 people. Even though Abilene is over 180 miles a way, there are still several ways you can help our fellow Texans.
The Salvation Army has already deployed 5 mobile kitchens to West, Texas to give food and support to those affected by this tragedy. If you would like to help support their cause, you can donate money online by going to the link below.
Within hours of the plant explosion in Texas, the Red Cross opened a shelter and began supporting a community response center. Red Cross disaster workers have been deployed from all over the state and are providing emotional support and health services with relief items such as comfort kits and water enroute to the region.
