The Biggest House in Texas Was Once Owned By Deion Sanders
Deion Sanders aka "Neon Deion" or "Prime Time" is an incredible athlete. The only one to have ever competed in both the Super Bowl and the World Series, it is no wonder an athlete like Neon Deion would have owned the biggest home in Texas.
It's been said that when Neon Deion was in front of the camera, he was bigger than life. At one point so was his home, with over 29,000 square feet of heated and cooled living space, located at 1280 N Preston Road in Prosper, Texas (about 45 minutes north of Dallas).
Sanders played for some big-name teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Ravens. He also played for the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves where he participated in the World Series.
This bigger-than-life athlete once owned a bigger-than-life house sitting on land that included a 10-acre lake in the exclusive gated community known as "The Montclair". The home is currently off the market but has been listed on Trulia (the source for the photos below).
It even has its own personal barbershop, a separate housekeeper's quarters, and three pools
Dubbed the "Chateau Montclair", the house has nine spacious bedrooms, ten full bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, a bowling alley, an indoor basketball court, an in-home fitness center, a movie theater, three swimming pools (indoors and out), a 3,000 square foot master bedroom, a housekeeper's quarters, a personal barber shop, and so much more, as you will see in the attached photos.
The videos share a little more of the majesty and magnificent views of the “Chateau Montclair". Prior to the last sale of the home, it sat on 114 acres. Today it's on only 16 acres, still including the 10-acre lake.
