Looking for something your kids can do this summer? Look no more, because the folks at Abilene' Safety City are holding a 'Summer Safety Camp' for students entering 2nd through the 4th grade. Summer Safety Camp will include pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular safety, just for starters. The only down side to this, they are limited to the first 40 kids to sign up, here's all the details.

First, you'll need to download an application from the Abilene Safety City website, fill it out and deliver it to Safety City on South 7th Street in Abilene. The safety camp will only last four days, so hurry because space is very limited. Summer Safety Camp is open to the first 40 kids to sign up.

Students will be taught in Bicycle Safety, Fire Safety, Weather Safety, Electrical & Natural Gas Safety, Water Safety, Bus Safety, Sun Safety, Personal & Internet Safety, Animal Safety plus Sports & Physical Fitness. It will all be a 'hands-on' learning environment. Special guests will provide safety information on all the topics and more!

T-shirts will only be awarded to the participants that registered prior to July 16th. Space is limited, so hurry and register now!
