PBS Offers the Best Reality TV Parody Ever
Warning: these aren't real shows. We know. We would totally watch 'Married to a Mime' too.
In a recent attempt to push for "quality programming" PBS has been displaying ads throughout New York City subways that pitch hilarious, outlandish and even realistic new TV shows scheduled to air. If this were fifteen years ago, we'd immediately notice the joke, but seeing as shows such as 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,' 'Dance Moms,' 'Toddlers & Tiaras' and 'Swamp People' do exist, it's a little harder to find the blurred line between reality TV and spoof.
Check out some more hysterical ads below:
'The Dillionaire'
'Bad Bad Bag Boys'
'Knitting Wars'
'Bayou Eskimos'
Whether or not this gets across the message of quality programming we're not sure. But it does make us curious as to what 'The Dillionaire' would be like...
