If you love wine, art, and a good Texas getaway, the 34th Annual Spring Wine Trail in Grapevine needs to be on your calendar. The event takes place Saturday, April 11, 2026, along Historic Main Street and features tastings of new-vintage wines inside Grapevine’s winery tasting rooms and art galleries from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You’ll receive a souvenir wine glass and tasting passport, then stroll at your own pace while enjoying sweet and savory bites, boutique shopping, and local art. It’s relaxed, it’s festive, and it feels like spring in Texas should feel.

My better half enjoys a sweet red from time to time, and I enjoy watching her enjoy it, so this one is always a win in my book. The historic Spring Wine Trail event is put on by the, "Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau."

A Texas Tradition: Blessing of the Wines & Vines

Before the trail begins, guests can attend the Traditional Blessing of the Wines & Vines at 10:30 a.m. on Peace Plaza. Father Sojan George from St. Francis of Assisi Grapevine Catholic Church performs the ceremony, asking for a fruitful Texas harvest in 2026.

There’s even a lively procession featuring mariachis, a 100-pound cluster of grapes, and photo opportunities with “Miss Grapevine,” a 1929 Chevy grape-crushing truck. The first 100 guests receive a blessed vine to take home.

Make It a Weekend in Texas

With more than 20 hotels, including the Gaylord Texan Resort and Hotel Vin, you can easily turn this into a full weekend getaway. I have, and it was so fun.

I’ve been to a lot of events across Texas, and this one stands out because it blends wine, tradition, art, and Texas hospitality into one easygoing spring day.

Tickets are on sale now, and if you ask me, this is one of those events that’s worth the drive.
