As an outdoors-man, I believe preparation is the key to survival. I'll show you how to prepare your own survival food bags that is inexpensive, light-weight, nutritious and delicious from ordinary household food items you may already have.

Since being in the outdoors means dealing with extreme temperatures from time to time and lots of physical activity. The types of food bags I put together help me in replacing protein, starches and carbohydrates.

Recently, I've covered fire, water and shelter as part of my 'One-Armed Outdoorsman' series. I'd like to move quickly thru the food part so I can start using some of the things I've made like my 'Camp Fire in a Can.'

The video above will show you the basics for making simple survival food bags.
