The minute August rolls around, everyone in Lubbock heaves a sigh of relief.

Yes, it's still hot outside...

• Light A Fall Candle - Why can't we burn pumpkin spice year-round?
• Get Lost In A Corn Maze - It's more fun than it sounds...
• Spend an Evening Outside - After months of avoiding the outdoors, that first cool evening is going to feel fabulous.
• Buy Halloween Candy Early - ....and eat all of it long before Halloween!

Fall Rules!

Fall in Lubbock is my favorite part of the year, and Lubbock knows how to celebrate right. Between fair food, pumpkin patches, and finally being able to enjoy the weather, we've got it made. I might even try wearing that hoodie today. Pray for me. The forecast predicts it will be a scorcher. I'll be over there thinking very, VERY, cold thoughts...
