If you own a food service business, work in food service, or have ever considered working food service, this class is for you. The Texas Department of State Health Services is holding a special accredited food handlers class. The class is a must and helps food service employees learn about food service safety.  Signing up in advance is recommended as space is limited. 

The food handlers class is scheduled for Monday August 6th, 2012 and will last just over 2 hours. This special food handlers class is being put on by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, and is accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Topics to be discussed will be: 'Food safety it's in your hands', good personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature abuse.
