Carol Burnett Gets ‘A Little Help’ With New Netflix Kids Interview Show
We’ve seen Netflix pull some incredible comedy talent, but Carol Burnett is on another level. The revered and iconic comedienne will host her very own show on the streaming service, interviewing children with A Little Help from a first teaser.
The original unscripted comedy A Little Help With Carol Burnett will feature “pint-sized opinions from a panel of straight-talking 4-8-year-olds,” as Carol and her guests explore how a different generation solves life’s biggest dilemmas. The series is set for twelve half-hour episodes in 2018, with celebrities and others bringing real-life issues to a panel of kids who “dish back hilarious, hard-hitting guidance–all in front of a live studio audience.”
Said Burnett of the project:
Someone once asked me how old I am inside. I thought about it, and came up with, ‘I’m about eight.’ So it’s going to be a lot of fun playing with kids my age.
Added Netflix:
We’re thrilled Carol is bringing her unique sensibilities to Netflix. Carol is truly a legend in the entertainment industry with unprecedented success and fandom across TV, film and the stage, and we are both honored and excited to work with her.
We’ll likely hear more before the year is out, so watch the teaser above and get A Little Help With Carol Burnett at Netflix’s landing page.
