Since the Children's Arts and Literacy Festival could not host it's annual multi-day festival, the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council is hosting "Geppetto's Marionette Theater" as part of this year's festival. The Cultural Affairs Council invites you to the "Storybook Capital of America for a little socially distanced entertainment."

In accordance with all State, local and CDC guidelines, there will be three show times and each performance will be limited to the first 16 families. All family groups will need to sit at least 6 feet apart from other family groups. Masks will be required for for both young and old alike.

You're invited to bring your picnic basket with snacks, refreshments and your picnic blankets (no lawn chairs of any kind please). This is an outdoor event in the shade, so prepare for hot weather conditions. There will be a "take-and-make craft" available for children to make on their own time at home. The best part is the price, tickets are only $5 per family (plus a ticketing software fee) available online.
