Get ready for delicious food and live Texas and Red Dirt music at Betty Rose’s Little Brisket Summer Concert Series! Saddle up and head on over to Betty Rose’s Little Brisket (39354 Catclaw Drive in Abilene) for homestyle fare with a twist and great music. The Summer Concert Series runs every Wednesday night from August 18 to September 29, 2021.

You won’t want to miss Josh Meloy at Betty Rose’s Little Brisket on August 18 at 8 PM. The Stillwater, Oklahoma native will be performing his latest single, “Gone”, as seen in the video above, along with songs from his “Washington Street” and “Oklahoma” albums. All of Meloy’s music is available to purchase and stream wherever you get your music.

Meloy's latest single chronicles the feelings of emptiness brought on by lost love. Despite his best efforts, Meloy is still surrounded by tiny details that continuously remind him of the relationship he had, which was thwarted by another. His classic country and Red Dirt influences shine through in powerful vocals and sorrowful steel guitar.

Here’s another quick taste of Meloy: it’s the title track from his “Washington Street” album.

Singer-songwriter Alex Aguilar kicks the show off at 7 PM.

Admission to the Summer Concert Series is free, so come early to secure your seat and bring your lawn chairs.
