Best Bars in Abilene for Drinking on St. Patrick’s Day
To many, St. Patrick's Day is all about drinking green beer. But, if you really wanna be like the Irish, drink a red or dark/black beer, like Killian's Irish Red or Guiness. But, regardless of the color of beer, it's good to know some of the places around Abilene to visit to get your 'fill'.
Lucky Mule Saloon
The Lucky Mule is typically open Wednesday through Saturdays. Occasionally, they're open other days in the event of a concert. In this case, the Lucky Mule will be open on Sunday (March 17th) for the Rock 108 Shamrock n Roll concert featuring Sevendust & Lacuna Coil. The Tavern will be open from 11am to midnight on Sunday March 17th for St. Pattys Day. With live music starting at 4pm on the patio. Green beer on draft for 2.50 a pint $7.50 pitchers.. Hourly shot specials. Full food service until 10 pm. As always Shepard's Pie will be the food special as well as Irish Nachos. Music will be continuous from 4- midnight with 8+ acts playing both on the patio and inside on the main stage.
