Annual Antique and Collectibles Appraisal Fair Returns to Abilene October 3rd

Have you got an antique and you don't know what it's worth? Here's your chance to get a free estimate of value. The 10th Annual Antique and Collectibles Appraisal Fair returns to the Abilene Public Library Thursday, October 3rd starting at 6:30pm.

Among those participating will be B.J. Naranjo-Smith, Abilene’s only certified antiques appraiser. So, grab your antique knickknacks, family heirlooms and old hand me downs, and get a free appraisal. The only thing the appraisers will not appraise during this fair are works of art.

This event will be in second floor auditorium of the Main Library in downtown Abilene. To beat the large crowd that gathers at the door just before 6:30pm, organizer Ricki Brown recommends arriving after 7 p.m. for a shorter wait. Appraisers will be on hand until 8:30pm. The library says they will not be responsible for lost or damaged items.
