‘Paranormal Activity The Marked Ones’, New Year’s Resolution Ideas, Biggest New Years Eve Party – Top Stories of the Week
Here are the top 5 stories for the past week just in cased you missed one.
2014 looks like it will be a big year for the ‘Paranormal Activity‘ franchise, with a fifth film hitting around Halloween and the intriguing spinoff, ‘Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones,’ arriving in a week. We don’t know much about ‘Paranormal Activity 5,’ but we do know plenty about the spinoff, which takes this increasingly complicated found-footage saga of demons and possession to a Latino neighborhood. Two new clips have arrived from the film, and if you’re looking for more of the same, you’ll be very pleased.
For many years, my lone New Year’s resolution was to make the next year better than the previous. Sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didn’t. I suppose I should have made more specific points as I raised my champagne glass on January 1st. This year, I’ve decided to get more proactive with my resolutions, and look for a way to change my life that is attainable, complete with a game plan. I’ve come up with five ideas that you can steal, too.
Everybody I know is talking about where to go for their New Years eve party. I just mentioned to my brother-in-law that I was going to be broadcasting live at “The Biggest New Years Eve Party in West Texas” at the Lucky Mule, he started making plans to join me. When I told him “the Lucky Mule is even doing a balloon drop with cash and prizes and a champagne toast at midnight” he asked “can I ride with you?” Guess who’s the designated driver now?
Grady Smith is an editorial assistant for Entertainment Weekly magazine and a few days ago he released what he thought were the 10 Best Country Albums of 2013. His list included, Gary Allan, Brad Paisley, Kacey Musgraves, Civil Wars and more. Then he did the opposite and released a video of why country music was awful in 2013.
Is it just me, or are there more country love songs being released now days? I can expect it from the superstars like Blake Shelton who stays a few months ahead of the seasons and/or holidays. Now add country newcomer Joel Crouse to those savvy enough to know when to release a new song like “Why God Made Love Songs.” With Valentines day just around the corner I honestly believe this song will be big for Joel. It’s only been out a couple weeks and it’s already heating up the airwaves.
