The Taylor County Sheriff's Office recently released a heartfelt announcement calling for community support for Deputy Bobby Votaw, who is currently facing serious medical issues. His fellow deputies are stepping up in a big way, organizing a raffle and fundraiser to help ease the burden of mounting medical expenses.

Hamburger Luncheon Fundraiser Set for April 9

To raise funds, the Sheriff’s Office and the Taylor County Sheriff’s Association are hosting a hamburger luncheon on Wednesday, April 9, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office parking lot, located at 450 Pecan Street in Abilene.

For just $10, you’ll enjoy a freshly grilled hamburger, chips, and a drink—cooked and served by the deputies themselves. Funds raised will go directly to help Deputy Votaw’s family.
