Sterotypes About Texans that Aren’t True – Shay’s Top 5

Texans we are a proud people and we see ourselves as completely different from the rest of the world. It takes a full day to drive across the state and I'm not talking a day as in 8 hours I'm talking at least 24 hours! We have our little nuances that make us unique but sometimes the stereotypes that others have of us are completely wrong, not that we care, we just play it up even more so! So what are some stereotypes of Texans that aren't quite true?

I just wanted to set the record straight here and knock down of few of the myths out there about us Texans. Although some of these might be good ideas, like the riding the horse to work thing. (I might need to talk to those New York corporate guys about adding a hitchin' post outside our studios.) So what are some other common myths and sterotypes that people have about Texans?
