Every third weekend in September the fun begins with Roaring Ranger Days put on by the nonprofit group known as Ranger Citizens Task Force (RCTF). If anyone knows anything about having fun around Ranger, Texas it's the RCTF.

The 12th Annual Roaring Ranger Days are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 17th and 18th at the historic Old Ranger Sale Barn located at 605 TX-254 Loop in Ranger. While Cows can’t be sold there anymore, the RCTF can still show you a good time.

So, come dressed like a cow and be treated extra special. Don't miss Flowers the Christian Clown, the car show, and the incredible Kids Section presented by ECHO (Eastland County Helping Others non-profit group).

Plus, there's the best beard and best braids contest on Sunday, there's cow chip throwing contest, the best cowboy and best cowgirl outfit contest, vendors, vendors, and even more vendors of all sorts. Don't forget to raid your Piggy Bank because the cost to get in will set you back a whopping $0.25 per person to get in.

The highlight of this year's Roaring Ranger Days will include what seems like every food truck in the Lone Star State plus some incredible live entertainment featuring headliner singer, songwriter, and crossover artist Rachel Stacy Live (as seen in the videos below). Also appearing live at 2 PM are Roy Thackerson the Fingerless Fiddler with Gray Grass, Mondo Molina at 4 PM, and Tim Wood at 6 PM.
