What? You didn't know? Me either, but March 9, is officially National Napping Day.In 1999 Camille and William Anthony, a Boston University professor, decided that we didn't get enough sleep and with the time change (next Sunday by the way) we needed a little nap during the day.  There are health benefits associated with sleep and since everyone is so busy we don't always get the amount of rest that our bodies need.

In addition to his lectures at Boston University, Anthony has also authored several books on the importance of those afternoon naps and serves as the director at the university’s psychiatric rehabilitation unit.
