Lonestar began in 1992 as Texassee. They chose that name because all the members were from Texas, yet they met while working at the Opryland theme park in Nashville, Tennessee. The group changed their name to Lonestar when they signed their record deal. They're one of the most successful bands, with ten songs that went to No.1 and debuting their biggest song "Amazed" at No.1.
