Kenny Chesney Serenades 14 Year Old Girl With Cancer
I know we have a lot of Kenny Chesney fans and we are giving you the chance to win tickets to the show and back stage passes to meet him in person. I want you to know you are meeting a great guy!Kenny's show in Wichita, Kansas made a 14 year old cancer patients dream come true. However, Kenny did this unknowingly. The girl and her aunt went to the concert, then someone gave them wrist bands to get up closer, then some tall guys lifted her up so she could see better, then Kenny pulled her up on stage and sang to her.
What they didn't know is that in 2008 Carrington Walker was diagnosed with acute lymphoma leukemia. Know on there that helped her get to the stage new she was sick, they all just saw a little 14 year old girl who wanted to see Kenny Chesney up close! There are still good people out there and Kenny is one of them.
"It was amazing," Carrington gushes. "I couldn't breathe at all. I just kind of stood there."
