The Joseph Thomas Memorial Triathlon is a fun sporting event consisting of miniature golf, bowling, and Skee-Ball, and featuring competitions between medically fragile or physically challenged children. I've attended this event and it is a heartwarming experience, as evidenced in the video below.

Being there and watching these kids have fun - regardless of their challenges - filled my heart with joy and inspired me to do more. To any kids with medical and/or physical challenges, I highly encourage them to participate. Arrangements can be made to accommodate any of their special needs. The triathlon is free and open to all medically challenged children.

The 16th Annual Joseph Thomas Foundation Triathlon will take place on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 from 9 am to 12 noon at Prime Time Entertainment (4541 Loop 322). The Foundation and triathlon are funded completely by donations. For more information please call (325) 704-1129.

Supporting the Foundation is easy. Become an event sponsor or set up an ongoing sponsorship pledge to help make a difference in the lives of medically fragile children. Your tax-deductible donations to the Joseph Thomas Foundation will be distributed to deserving recipients who have applied for assistance from the foundation and are approved by the Board of Directors. All donations collected by this foundation are paid out for assistance to medically fragile children and the organizations supporting them.

An application must be filed in advance. Learn more about Joseph Thomas and the foundation he inspired in the video above. This Abilene event truly tugs at my heartstrings, and I beg everyone to please donate and help these incredible children.
