Creative Love Expressions: Unique Ways Texans Say ‘I Love You’
It seems like everyone has a unique way of expressing love to tell that special someone how you feel. At my house, it's no different. With five daughters, they have spent years trying to outdo each other with creative ways to say, "I love you," "I'm thinking of you," or "You mean the world to me."
Recently, my boss walked into the studio, told me he loved something I had just completed, and said he appreciated me. Then, he used one of my own sayings on me. My saying is, "I love you mostest," but I usually don’t finish it when I say it to him. All he typically hears is, "Thanks, I love you mostest," and then I move on. But last week, I finished it. The phrase I usually tell my daughters just came flowing out of my mouth.
What I said was, "I love you mostest, Hostess Cupcake, Twinkie, Ding Dong, 'cause you're the sweetest! I win, you lose!" That’s the phrase I came up with when my daughters tried to outdo me in saying, "I love you." I added all the Hostess brand products because nothing else rhymed with "mostest." So that became our little expression of love, who could say it the fastest. Fair warning, I’m pretty quick at spitting it out!
Recently, I took to the station's Facebook page and asked, "What are your expressions of love?" Here are some that our listeners shared with us. A few of my daughters even responded. Some of these expressions are old, but they still have a way of filling our hearts with love.

That last one is Shasta my daughter and she has that love expression on t-shirts jewelry and I believe she even has a tattoo with that saying. What are your "Expressions of Love" share them with us we'd love to hear what you have to say.
