Dave’s Hunt for Blackberry Smoke’s Georgia Theatre Concert on TV is Over

I have been a Blackberry Smoke fan for a while now, and became an even bigger fan since they stopped by the studios the last time they were in town. When lead singer Charlie Starr mentioned to me that they had recorded their concert at the Georgia Theatre for the cable channel Palladia, I was stoked. I needed to see this concert.

I know, at any time I could watch Blackberry Smoke 'Live at the Georgia Theatre' on my phone or computer pretty much anytime, but I wanted to watch it at home with a cold beer and turned up loud on fancy speakers that make me feel like I'm at the concert.

After several failed attempts to catch the concert, my coworker Frank called me out of the blue to tell me he was watching the BBS show I had been looking for all this time. But I was out of the house, and couldn't get home in time to watch it. Crap.

I'm proud to announce that my exhaustive search has ended. will be airing on Thursday, August 1st at 1:00pm, and again on Friday August 2nd at 11:00pm on Palladia TV (that's Suddenlink channel 205 in Abilene), and the DVR is set.

By the way, if you want to watch the concert and you don't care about it being under the most perfect conditions, watch it here. You don't need to be an audio snob like me to enjoy Blackberry Smoke.
