The 15th Annual Clay Shoot Benefiting Abilene's Habitat for Humanity that is put on by the Big Country Home Builders Association will be held on Saturday, August 14th beginning at 8 AM. This clay shoot takes place at Abilene Clay Sports range, located at 1102 E Spur 707, in south Abilene.

Here's how you can participate in this "Lewis Class Scoring System" clay shoot. When you register, you and or your team will compete, and you'll receive commemorative shirts (while supplies last), dinner tickets (additional tickets are available), cocktails prior to the dinner at 6:30 PM, and the awards presentation beginning promptly at 7 PM.

Cost is only $175 per individual shooter, $500 for two entries with 4 dinners, or $800 for four entries with eight dinners. Additional sponsorship's available. Check out how fun this event is, in the photos above.

To sign up, contact Terah Ward at the BCHBA at 325-698-4232. Parents or guardians must accompany shooters under 18. Prizes will be awarded to the top three individuals in each Lewis Class Scoring.

Please note all participants are eligible to win only one gun via the Lewis Class Scoring System. Guns are awarded for the Top Shooter on each course and 1st place finishers based on the Lewis Class system. 2nd place Lewis Class will receive a flat of shotgun shells.

There will be lots of prizes to be given away, so come join in helping raise money for Habitat for Humanity. Plus, new this year, there will be a limited supply of 12-gauge shotgun shells available for purchase on the day of the shoot. They will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis for $100 per flat.
