‘An Evening with Larry Gatlin: Unplugged’ March 23rd at Hardin-Simmons University
Abilene's own Larry Gatlin will be in the Abilene area for 4 days in March. Three of those days will be with his musical "The Texas Flyer" which features the HSU theatre and musical departments, March 20-22. The last evening is a very special 'unplugged' event with Larry, on March 23.
Larry will feature some of his well known and loved hits but also will include songs from his one-man show that is currently being developed.
Gatlin has not only played country music with his brothers Steve and Rudy for years, winning many awards, including Grammy's; he also stared on Broadway in the Tony Award winning "The Will Rogers Follies". He is now working on a one many show and plays the lead in his musical "The Texas Flyer". He and his brothers also have a new album "Pilgrimage" that features 19 songs.
