Air Ambulance Airplane Will Stop in Abilene [VIDEO]

Medical City Children's Hospital in Dallas has the only air-ambulance airplane in Texas with a maternal transport team, they can transport pregnant women in crisis to their hospital. The air-ambulance team will stop in Abilene Wednesday May 2nd and show off their capabilities and their incredible airplane. The public is invited to attend in the afternoon from 1pm till 6pm.  

This specially outfitted aircraft allows a medically fragile infant to be born at Medical City Children's Hospital where he or she will be treated.

Medical City Children’s Hospital is a comprehensive children’s hospital with specialists in virtually every pediatric subspecialty, including nationally recognized craniofacial, congenital heart defect, hematology, and oncology treatment programs.

The event will take place Wednesday, May 2, 6am till 6pm and open to the general public from 1pm till 6pm only. The location will be at Abilene Aero, 2850 Airport Boulevard.
