UPDATE: Abilene Girl Scouts Kick Off 2022 With A Yummy New Cookie Flavor
UPDATE: 1-14-2022 The Girl Scout Cookies are Here and so is DoorDash
The good news is, you can now get your cookies five different ways. First off order online at Girl Scout Cookies online, use the Cookie Finder App, new this year is DoorDash, storefronts, and in-person in some neighborhoods door-to-door. So, stock up and enjoy those cookies knowing full well, you're helping our West Texas Girl Scouts.

I'll admit it, Girl Scout Cookies are my weakness. So much so, that I will buy several cases just to make sure I can make it through the year without running out.
Now, according to the Girl Scout's recent press release, the new flavor is called Adventurefuls it's what's new for 2022. Adventurefuls are a brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored creme and sea salt. Adventurefuls joins the other Girl Scout cookie favorites such as Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs.
To this day my all-time favorite Girl Scout Cookie is the "Thanks-A-Lot" a crisp sugar cookie with a chocolate base. The only problem is, the Thanks-A-Lots are no longer available they were replaced by this year's new cookie.
I will confess the Adventurefuls look amazing with all the things I truly love like caramel, a brownie, sweet creme, and sea salt, it sounds YUMMY.
Girl Scouts Cookie Distribution Will Now Be At The Mall Of Abilene Parking Lot
Well, the good news is, it's that time of year again. Girl Scout cookie season and runs from January 14th through March 6th, 2022. The cookie distribution location is changing too. Cookies will be distributed in the old Sears parking lot at the Mall of Abilene.
Girl Scouts sell their cookies and learn the business of marketing and sales giving them a head start on being successful business leaders. The scouts are taught goal setting, basic business ethics, money management, decision making, and how to be courteous to people.

Take A Look At This Year's Lineup Of Cookies Below
I confess here and now, I have used Girl Scout cookies as barter to get things done, and they've been used on me in that same way. Now, who doesn't like Girl Scout cookies? I mean when you're going in and out of a store or best yet one of the girl's parents track you down at church, work, parking lot, or while at a restaurant. I buy all I can afford.
That's when the great freezing process begins at my house. I even have designated areas inside each one of my three (yes I said three) freezers to store them to get me through to the next Girl Scout cookie season.
So, get ready to see those sweet smiling faces asking if you would like to buy some Girl Scout Cookies. Knowing that they are working toward being our next business leaders in our local community.
