10 Year Old Inducted Into Army
A little boy from Louisiana has a very rare form of cancer and his only wish was to be in the Army. He is now an honorary member of that organization.It was a surprise for Brennan on his 10th birthday. He has plans to go fishing with his dad and his best friend Kaleb. When Brennan got out of the truck he was met by 40 soldiers standing at attention and yelling Happy Birthday!! They then took Brennan and his bestie Kaleb for a ride in the Humvee, presented him a jacket with his name on the pocket, a coin symbolizing merit and honor and the Mayor named him Honorary Mayor of the Day and gave him a key to the city. It was a great day for Brennan and his family. Unfortunately Brennan's doctors have given him only a few weeks to live, there is nothing more they can do about his cancer but for one day he didn't think about being sick only that his dream to be in the Army came true.
A huge salute goes out to our military who go above and beyond to make great things happen!!
