Texas Mom’s Top Picks: Best Movies for Mother’s Day Watching

the big one it looks likeSince my mother passed away over a decade ago I missed the times we had together on Mother's Day doing the things she liked to do. One thing my mom loved was cooking especially if we were going to sit down to watch a movie with her she cooked fun Foods to eat while binge-watching.

Now, my wife Texas born and raised is mom to all eight of our children and they spent a lot of time watching their favorite movies over the years. Since the kids have all grown up and moved out, from time to time some will come and spend the Mother's Day weekend and they binge-watch their favorite movies.

Now, that favorite movie could be a child's favorite or the wife's favorite movie. Nonetheless, it's movies and special food night the day before Mother's Day. For the record, I do not waste my time watching movies or television but I do occupy myself on the grill or the kitchen preparing mom's favorite foods.

That said, here are the Top 10 movies my bride loves watching. First off, Stephen King movies top her list. When the kids were younger some of those movies were not the best things to watch with the toddlers around. However, they did like to watch some 'kid-friendly mom favorite' movies.
