The Best and Most Fun Arts and Crafts Fair Celebrates 10 Years

For the record, I will admit I am a huge sucker for arts and crafts fairs. Furthermore, I have been attending this craft show, bake sale, and Ministry fair for 10 years. It takes place at the First Church of the Nazarene 2849 Beltway South in Abilene. Not only do I attend it as a fan, but I also broadcast live from this incredible craft show and bake sale.

What makes this event so spectacular is the number of vendors that will be there. With nearly three and a half weeks to go, there are over 70 vendors committed to setting up and selling their one-of-a-kind goods (I predict more can be expected).

The official name is the 10th Annual Craft Show, Bake Sale, and Ministry Fair and it is scheduled for Saturday, October 28th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. This arts and bake sale Ministry Fair features a blood drive for the Hendrick Regional Blood Center.

In addition, the May Farms Petting Zoo will be on hand to help keep children entertained from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.Then there's the humongous pumpkin patch spread out in the field behind the church. Both the petting zoo and the Pumpkin Patch are absolutely free however donations will be accepted. All the donations collected from the petting zoo and the Pumpkin Patch will directly benefit the First Church of the Nazarene children's ministry.

So if you're into one-of-a-kind jewelry items, embroidery, homemade cards, home-baked goodies, woodcrafts, unique gift items, painting and artwork, and so much more. To prove how unique and fun this craft show bake sale and Ministry fair is, approximately four years ago I purchased my first purse. This purse was in the shape of an electric guitar, in which I carry all my on-location broadcasting gear.
