Decades before Taken got tooken, Charles Bronson went on a revenge rampage. Liam Neeson had his very particular set of skills, but in 1974’s Death Wish, Bronson had a well-kempt mustache, a dead wife, a hospitalized daughter, and a white-hot grudge. The middle-aged man cut a violent swath of retribution through the criminal underground in search of justice for the female members of his family, and in doing so, spawned a genre of brutal, occasionally sadistic action films rooted in mature masculinity. Bruce Willis was one of the many beneficiaries of Bronson’s legacy, and now he’ll repay the favor with a remake of the classic action flick.

‘Die Hard 6’ Being Developed as a John McClane Origin Story
Great news if you’re a Die Hard fan, disappointing news if you aren’t a fan of the more recent sequels: Die Hard 6 is officially in the works, with Live Free or Die Hard director Len Wiseman returning to take Bruce Willis’ John McClane on another action-packed adventure. But the current plan for the next installment in the franchise is to take it back in time, with Die Hard 6 serving as a prequel of sorts.

Bruce Willis Departs Woody Allen’s Latest Film Under Mysterious Circumstances
Yesterday, photos of Bruce Willis filming director Woody Allen’s latest (and currently untitled) movie surfaced online and the everything seemed fine. Just another late-era Allen production that inexplicably features a killer line-up of movie stars! Move along, nothing to see here! However, something seems to have gone horribly wrong between yesterday and today because Willis has abruptly dropped out of the film. That’s the news. What follows is gossip, albeit interesting gossip.

"Summertime! Summertime, people!" Sure, Bruce Willis. We can blame this on it being the summertime. The actor hit 'The Late Show' last night to ... honestly, we don't even know, but eventually it devolved into Willis eating corn on the cob harmonica-style and getting absolutely covered in melted butter. It seems that Willis is a huge fan of corn -- can't get enough of it! -- and he was eager to share some corn-centric life hacks with host David Letterman.

‘Die Hard 6′ to Reunite Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson?
Let's be honest: the last two 'Die Hard' movies were almost unwatchable. There's little Fox could do to get us excited for a 'Die Hard 6' at this point, but what little there is to do, they're at least trying to do. Early reports suggest that Fox is working on a 'Die Hard 6' story that would reunite John McClane (Bruce Willis) and Zeus Carver (Samuel L. Jackson), the co-stars of the last good 'Die

‘SNL': Yes, That’s Bruce Willis Playing a Centaur
You've got to love it when 'SNL' forces its major movie star guest hosts to do really, really silly stuff and you honestly don't get much sillier than Bruce Willis playing a centaur. The only thing you can complain about here is that Willis is playing a guy playing centaur instead of a real centaur, but that may have been just a little too much perfect for a single sketch.
