How's your bowling skills? Polish them up and get ready for the 2013 'Bowl for Kids Sake' Bowl-A-Thon, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters. The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, April 6th, from 10am till 9pm at the Abilene Bowling Lanes 279 Ruidosa. Michelle Parrish Big Brothers Big Sisters Events Coordinator says "everyone that participates in a team will get a T shirt and be eligible to win all kinds of door prizes.

Music Meltdown Festival in Abilene Benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters is August 18th

The Music Meltdown Festival is a concert with Zach Harmon Band, Kirk House Band, Callahan Divide and OdduSee. The Festival will benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters and will be a first outdoor concert for the American Legion Hall. The Festivities will be at the American Legion Hall at 302 East South 11th. street.

Big Brothers Big Sisters in Abilene Receive Largest Corporate Donation in its 33 Year History

Saturday was a banner day for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Abilene. Thanks to the efforts of Communities of Abilene Federal Credit Union (CoAFCU) and their third annual "Skip-A-Loan Payment" Program, the largest single contribution in the history of BBBS in Abilene was presented at their annual "Big Picnic" at Festival Gardens near Abilene Zoo.
