‘Back To The Future’ DeLorean Lego Set Is Coming
Did you ever want to own a DeLorean like the one in 'Back To The Future'? If you did, you probably weren't in luck, as the car is quite rare. (Not to mention highly impractical.)

A while back we reported on a very cool 'Back to the Future' LEGO set concept, where fans submit their ideas for new LEGO sets in hopes of seeing those sets become reality. And the results are in -- the 'Back to the Future' LEGO set has been approved and is coming next year!
It's probably going to be hard to out-nerd this one. It's Doc Brown, of 'Back to the Future' fame, against the Doctor from 'Doctor Who.'
Great Scott! 1.21 jigowatts! Additional exclamations! We may not keep up with FOX's thriving family comedy 'Raising Hope' all that often, but when 'Back to the Future' gets thrown into the mix, you can bet we're gonna see some serious sh*t. Not only that, but it seems Doc Brown himself Christopher Lloyd will guest star on the episode to get in on the fun! But where (or when) could 'Raising Hope' go with a 'Back to the Future' episode, and who could Lloyd play if not himself?
Twenty-three years ago, as ‘Back to the Future, Part II’ first hit theaters, kids everywhere got their first look at a toy from the future. It was the Mattel Hoverboard, the skateboard without wheels that uses futuristic technology to float inches above the ground. Rumors swirled in the ’80s and ’90s that the Hoverboard was real (rumors fueled by director Robert Zemeckis) but, alas, much to the disappointment of children everywhere, the Hoverboard was just another piece of movie magic.
But now, just three years shy of 2015 – the “future” of ‘Back to the Future, Part II” – Mattel has finally announced the Hoverboard for sale.
Have you ever wanted to go back in time? You might not be able to actually time travel (yet), but if you have $600k lying around, then you can at least travel back to the 1980s (in your mind) in the original Delorean from ‘Back to the Future.’
