4 days ago Abilene native Aaron Watson just released his new summer song, adding to the mountain of summer songs that have recently been released. While all other entries into the summer of 2013 theme songs are somewhat "novelty" songs. Watson sets himself apart by the style and content of his new song titled "Summertime Girl". It's a more serious, more grounded song, with a more mature theme.
February 8, 2013 Aaron Watson's latest hit, currently #5 on the Texas Music Chart, is also debuting as a video this week on CMT. The single "Lips" was filmed in Las Vegas at the South Point Casino.
January 16, 2013 St. John's Episcopal School is celebrating their 60th anniversary this school year and with that have planned a great fundraising concert that is open to the public. The concert will feature Abilene's own Aaron Watson.

December 4, 2012 The 43rd annual West Texas REHAB Telethon is scheduled for January 19, 2013 at the Abilene Civic Center. This years 'featured' entertainers were announced at there annual press conference at the West Texas Rehabilitation Center (WTRC) Dec. 3rd. This year the 'Headline Entertainment' responsibility will be shared by Jana Kramer and hometown legend Aaron Watson. While Aaron Watson did make a live appearance at the press conference, Charlie Chase (the telethon's host) appeared via video-Skype from Nashville, TN.
December 3, 2012 Abilene Christian University (ACU) will be host the most fun family event ever. It's the 'ACU Mingle and Jingle Christmas Celebration', featuring hot chocolate, cookies, a movie and Aaron Watson Live. This is a fundraiser of sorts , admission will be one new, unwrapped toy per family for needy Abilene children. Mingle and Jingle a Christmas Celebration is open to everyone that wants to attend.

June 5, 2012 Texas music artist Aaron Watson dropped by the studio to bring me his new song, "Raise Your Bottle". The song was inspired by both his grandpa a WWII veteran and his dad a Vietnam war veteran. The song pays tribute to his kin folk and all veterans alike. Furthermore the profits from the song will go to a veterans charity called the Boot Campaign.
