Blake Shelton has lined up Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts and Luke Bryan to perform at his telethon that he has titled "Healing in the Heartland" a benefit concert. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 in Oklahoma City at the Chesapeake Energy Center. If you don't make it to Oklahoma City for the concert don't worry, the concert will be broadcast live on NBC May 29th, 2013 starting at 8pm CT. Organizers say that Bravo, CMT and E! TV will air the special either live or slightly delayed. KEAN-105 will also air the event on Wednesday May 29th starting at 8pm.

Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert are from Oklahoma, the couple currently live in Tishomingo, OK and Blake grew up there. Shelton says "Everyone has their way to help, and mine as an entertainer is to perform to help raise money and awareness for this tragedy. This is why I want to do this special and especially hold it in Oklahoma City, which is near ground zero."

All monies raised from this event will be donated directly to the 'Central Oklahoma Tornado Relief Fund.' If you would like to donate simply text 'Red Cross' to 90999, or call the toll free nationwide number at 1800-RED CROSS.
