necklaces, brooches, bracelets,bouquet/flower embellishments, gown embellishments even cake decorations can be home made and inexpensively.  The great thing about doing it yourself is that it is designed by you to your specifications in the exact colors and quantity you need.  Do you want gold or silver, crystals or pearls, romantic, contemporary or vintage.  It can be for you or your wedding party or even make your own bridesmaids/groomsman gifts.

I have a great website that helps me out all the time.  I've learned new techniques from their helpful instructional videos and of course, I get great ideas and they have beautiful beads and findings.  They also right now have a bridal section so if you are heading to the alter soon you definitely will want to go check this out.

If you're not sure how to make a specific knot or how to string a particular bead they have many videos to watch that step by step will show you how to do it.  I love this website/magazine.  You will too and you will have beautiful one of a kind jewelry to show off at your wedding.
