Here are the top 5 stories for the past week just in cased you missed one.
Gracie is the most adorable two year old Golden/Terrier mix that was picked up by Abilene Animal Control. That said, Gracie falls into the stray category and now has only days to live. Christy with the Abilene Animal Control Shelter said “Gracie is a very sweet and very shy dog”. Please help me find a home for our “KEAN Critter” of the week. See her at the Abilene Animal Control Shelter in the east wing.
The New Year marks a time for new beginnings, and a time to renew our hopes for love, luck and/or money. America is the melting pot of many cultures, and with all those cultures come their New Year’s traditions, or as I call it “our crazy food superstitions.” The biggest one is our belief in that by consuming something, it might bring us love, luck and/or money. Here are a few of our New Years food related superstitions.
Collin Raye is back and this time he is paying tribute to one of my all time favorite artists, Glen Campbell. “I probably learned more about how to sing by listening to Glen Campbell records than I did any other way” says Collin. The classic song “Galveston” is Collin’s first release from his tribute album ‘Still On The Line’ The Songs Of Glen Campbell. Collin has also recorded the classic “Gentle On My Mind” with Ricky Skaggs and “Rhinestone Cowboy” with Billy Dean. I think Collin did an awesome job remaking “Galveston” the first release from Collin’s new album. Check it out.

I’m always intrigued by what they come up with so it’s always fun when their newest video is released. This one is ‘highly’ amazing!
