Abilene Prairie Dogs Season Opener May 28th

As I mentioned a couple of days ago little league season is underway and soon our new minor league team will be taking the field as well. The Abilene Prairie Dogs home opener will be on Memorial Day, May 28th!

Lot's of family/friend outings happen over the Memorial Day weekend so make sure you add this to your list of things to do. The Dogs will be playing the San Angelo Colts in the season opener here in Abilene.

The team is part of the North American League and will play a 96 game schedule this year.

I'm excited about the new Prairie Dogs being back. Tickets are very inexpensive too...cheaper than going to a movie! Box seats are $8, general admission $6 and kids, seniors and military are $5. Make sure you take a little extra though for peanuts and cracker jacks.
