11 To Watch For In 2011

Looking back at 2010, we had an AWESOME year as far as Country Music is concerned. Looking ahead I am of the opinion that 2011 will be bigger, (if that is at all possible).

In 2010, Taylor Swift broke all the records, while Lady Antebellum, Zach Brown, Jason Aldean and the likes, won arm-loads of awards. In 2011 look for the “Unknowns” to make some noise/news. Unknowns like The Band Perry, Josh Turner, Jerrod Niemann, Easton Corbin, Red, Catlin Rose and Chris Young just to name a few. Let us not forget who just graced our great city just before Christmas for the “Reindeer Rodeo”, Josh Thompson, James Wesley & Joanna Smith, they too deserve a look at on 2011. Who do you think will really shine bright in the coming year?

Talk about a tough act to follow. By any measure, 2010 was a dream year in Nashville music, and one that isn’t likely to be topped anytime soon. But thanks to a harmony-rich trio of siblings, a former reality show star, a turntablist extraordinaire and eight other rising artists to watch, 2011 could be a rich musical year in its own right.
