West Texas Youth Football Association is Looking for Football Players and Cheerleaders June 15th

The West Texas Youth Football Association will be accepting applications for the 2013 season Saturday, June 15th at the Lee Complex at North 10th and Pioneer Drive in Abilene. This is the last call for sign-ups for this years season. Boys who want to play football and girls who would like to be cheerleaders are encouraged to attend. There will be several different age groups for both players and cheerleaders.

Boys are broken up by the grade in school they are in, and the girls are divided up by age group. Sign up is open to boys Pre-K thru 6th grade, and the girls are Pre-K to 13 years old. All participants will need a physical and can be done at Texas Sport and Spine on June 22nd for only $10 per child. All participants must have birth certificates, registration fees, proof of residence and the most recent report card.

The age groups that all players will be divided up by are:
Flag Football - Pre-K and Kindergarden
Mighty Mite - 1st and 2nd grades
Junior Pee Wee - 3rd and 4th grades
Pee Wee - 5th and 6th grades
Cheerleaders will be divided accordingly
This is the official last date for WTYFA sign-ups and if you can not attend but would like to participate please contact Ramona or Stephanie with the WTYFA.
