Watch Freediving Fisherman Hold His Breath for Five Minutes

A Bajau tribal fishermen can freedive down to more than 65 feet of water to hunt fish with a spear, holding their breath for nearly five minutes. I scuba and after going down to 40 feet for 15 minutes I have difficulties re-acclimating, let alone 65 feet. Is it possible the we were once marine mammals?

After watching this video I believe that we could have possibility been marine mammals of some sort. After all, dolphins and whales keep beaching themselves. Maybe they want to become land mammals too. Isn't it called evolution?
